The workshop was led by Sensei Kenneth Hana from Warriors Fight Club, who guided participants through practical self - defence techniques aimed at equipping women with the confidence and skills to protect themselves. The session went beyond physical training, focusing also on mental awareness, resilience, and personal empowerment.
 
Dr Mariëtte Mouton, Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, attended the event and spoke passionately about the importance of self-worth and how the atmosphere was energetic and supportive. It was a pleasure to witness women learning how to stand strong, both physically and psychologically. Events like these are crucial in reminding every woman of her strength and right to feel safe,” she shared. Dr. Mouton also added an element of excitement by gifting a spot prize - medical-grade skincare - to one lucky attendee.
 
 
Dr Suvarnah Bodasingh, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, echoed the sentiments, highlighting that the workshop celebrated not just fitness, but self resilience and unity of women. “It was a vibrant morning filled with energy, courage, and commitment. Mothers, daughters, sisters and friends came together with a shared purpose and left feeling stronger and more connected to one another,” she said. The event also featured a beautiful, inspirational setup and various activities, including a vision board zone. From high-energy cardio workouts to powerful self-defence techniques, the day embodied the spirit of Women's Month — encouraging personal growth, inner strength and solidarity.
